Watch Duncan Sparkle, A new Holiday Tradition Begins

A new holiday tradition for City of Duncan plans to bring the community together for a festive and friendly Tree Lighting Ceremony at Fuqua Park East at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025. The event kicks off with a welcome from City Manager Chris Deal and a holiday message from Mayor Robert Armstrong to be followed by a performance from the Duncan High School Choir before the 25-foot decorated tree lighting countdown begins. There will be cocoa and cookies as well as photo opportunities within the park at the festively decorated gazebo and trees.

For questions about the Watch Duncan Sparkle event, please contact City Hall at 580-252-0250 during regular business hours from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and speak to the Communications Department.
