About Us

Duncan Police Department

Message from Chief Brian Attaway

Welcome to the City of Duncan, with a special welcome from your Duncan Police Department. It is the goal of the Duncan Police Department to make your stay in Duncan a pleasant and safe experience. If you are visiting our city we want to be as helpful as possible and assist you anyway we can, so feel free to contact the Department at any time. If you are a resident of Duncan or the Duncan area we want you to know that we are striving to provide you and your family with a safe, friendly environment and welcome your input in providing the very best service possible.

The Duncan Police Department is made up of several sections with patrol, investigations, and administration as its major divisions. We are responsible for not only the City of Duncan but also the four Lakes located east of the city- Duncan Lake, Lake Humphreys, Clear Creek Lake and Lake Fuqua. I encourage you to visit our lakes as they are well maintained and receive twenty-four hour-a-day police service. Locals and visitors alike find our lakes some of the best in Oklahoma and Oklahoma Tourism recognizes Lake Humphreys as a premier fishing lake on their Oklahoma Fishing Trail.

The Duncan Police Department strives to provide exceptional service while maintaining the highest ethical standards. If you are a resident of the City we hope you will continue to assist us in providing a safe community and submit your concerns via DunCAN Connect, located on the homepage of this website or as a downloadable app for your cellphone. We need the help of all citizens to maintain the quality of life we enjoy in the Duncan area. If you are visiting, we hope you enjoy your visit to our City and we welcome you to visit again or to join us as a resident.
