Heritage Trails Pedestrian Walkway Plan

On March 22, 2011, the Duncan City Council approved the Heritage Trails Pedestrian Walkway Plan.

The plan links City of Duncan parks, Duncan Public schools, government facilities, and business centers to a city-wide pedestrian walkway trail. The plan also links various complexes such as the Simmons Center Recreation Facility, the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center, and Duncan Regional Hospital. The primary goal is for the community to have a safe pedestrian city-wide walkway route encompassing over 17 miles adding an additional quality of life feature to the community.

The first completed phase links The Simmons Center, Duncan Regional Hospital and The Chisholm Trail Heritage Center and is 3.2 miles.
